How to Connect Quizell to Omnisend

Introduction

Integrating Quizell with Omnisend allows you to automatically sync quiz leads, manage subscribers, and create targeted email campaigns with ease. Once connected, every lead collected through your quizzes will flow directly into your Omnisend account — no manual exports required.

This guide walks you through connecting Quizell to Omnisend in just a few steps.


Step-by-Step Setup Guide

Step 1: Add the Omnisend Integration

  1. Log into your Quizell dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Integrations from the left-hand menu.
  3. Find Omnisend and click View Integration.
  4. On the Integration Details page, click Connect.
  5. Select Authorize to Omnisend to begin connecting your account.

Step 2: Find and Add Your API Key

  1. Log into your Omnisend account (or create one if you don’t have an account yet).
  2. Click your account icon in the top-right corner and select Store settings.
  3. In the left-hand menu, go to API Keys.
  4. Click Create API key, generate a new key, and copy it immediately. (Click here to get more info how to find the API key at Omnisend)⚠️ Important: API keys can only be copied once when they’re created.
  5. Return to your Quizell dashboard.
  6. Paste the API key into the API Key field and click Save.

Step 3: Finalize the Connection

  1. In Quizell, choose the quiz(zes) you want to connect to Omnisend.
  2. Ensure the Omnisend integration toggle is turned on for each selected quiz.
  3. Click Save to complete the setup.

🎉 You’re all set!

Your Quizell account is now connected to Omnisend. New quiz leads will automatically sync to your Omnisend account, where you can manage subscribers and trigger automated campaigns.

Step 4: Test the Integration

After connecting your accounts, it’s important to confirm that the integration is working correctly.

  1. Publish your quiz and open its live version (the one your visitors see).
  2. Complete the quiz as a test user and submit your answers.
  3. Log in to your Omnisend account.
  4. Go to Audience → Contacts and check that your test submission appears as a new contact.
  5. Open the contact record to verify that the quiz answers were sent correctly.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues while connecting or syncing leads:

  • Invalid API Key: Double-check that the API key you pasted matches exactly and hasn’t expired.
  • No Leads Syncing:
    • Make sure the Omnisend integration toggle is turned on for the correct quiz.
    • Verify that your quiz includes an email question, since an email address is required for contacts to be added to Omnisend.
  • Authorization Errors: Try reauthorizing the integration from the Integrations page.
