How to Embed Your Quiz in Wix Using HTML

This guide walks you through how to embed your quiz in both versions of Wix:

• Wix Classic: Editor X
• Wix Studio: New Editor

At each step, follow the instructions for the version relevant to you.

Step-by-Step Setup Guide

Step 1: Access Your Wix Site Editor

1. Log into your Wix account.
2. Go to your site’s editor.
3. Select the section of your website where you want to embed your quiz.

Step 2: Add an HTML Embed Element

For Wix Classic (Editor X):

1. Click the Add (+) button on the left panel.
2. Navigate to Embed Code → Popular Embeds → Embed a Site.
3. An HTML Element box will be added to your page section.

For Wix Studio (New Editor):

1. Click the Add (+) button on the left panel.
2. Search for “Embed a site” and select it.
3. An HTML Element box will be added to your page section.

Step 3: Get Your Quiz Link from Quizell

1. Log into your Quizell account and open the quiz you want to embed.
2. Copy the link from your browser’s address bar.
3. Modify the URL by replacing quiz-editor with quiz.

Step 4: Embed the Quiz in Wix

For Wix Classic (Editor X):

1. In your HTML Element box, locate the field labeled “What’s the website address?”
2. Paste your modified Quizell link into this field.
3. Click Apply.

For Wix Studio (New Editor):

1. In your HTML settings panel, find the Link field.
2. Paste your modified Quizell link.
3. Click Apply.

Step 5: Adjust and Save

1. Resize the HTML box to fit your layout.
2. Preview your page to confirm the quiz displays correctly.
3. Click Save and Publish your site.
