Introduction

Using the Custom Liquid method in Shopify allows for greater flexibility in embedding your Quizell quizzes. You can add scripts, customize the Liquid code, and style your quizzes to fit seamlessly into your Shopify store. Follow this guide to embed your quiz using Custom Liquid.

Step-by-step Guide

Step 1: Access Your Shopify Theme Settings

Log into your Shopify account.

Navigate to the Online Store section.



Select the theme where you want to embed your quiz and click Customize.



In the theme customization panel, select the page where you want to embed the quiz from the dropdown menu at the top.



From the left-side menu, click Add section, and search for Custom liquid.



Click the newly created Custom Liquid section. In the right-side menu, you’ll find two text boxes for adding your Liquid code and Custom CSS.

Step 2: Find your Quiz Liquid Code

Open your Quizell account.

Navigate to the Quizzes section and locate the quiz you want to embed.

Click the three dots next to your selected quiz and select Share from the menu.



In the Sharing section, select Embed on a webpage.

Toggle the HTML button in the left-side menu.

Choose your preferred display option:

· Full Page

· In Page

· Popup

· Greet Bar

· Floating Button

Each option customizes how the quiz will appear on your Shopify page.

Copy the script and div code provided.



Step 3: Embed the Liquid Code

Paste the copied Liquid code into the Custom Liquid section’s text box in Shopify.



(Optional) Add Custom CSS in the second text box to style your quiz according to your store’s design.



Click Save to apply your changes.
