How to Style Your Quiz Using the Design Tab

Introduction

The Design tab in the Quizell editor lets you style your quiz so it matches your website’s branding. You can pull your website’s colors and fonts automatically, then fine-tune the layout, colors, fonts, progress bar and animation — all with a live preview.

This guide walks you through using the Pull Website Design option step by step.

Step 1: Open the Design Tab

To start styling your quiz, open the Design tab in the editor.

1. Open your quiz from Quizzes in the Quizell dashboard.
2. In the right panel, click the Design tab.
3. The design settings for your quiz will appear.

Step 2: Enter Your Website URL

Quizell can style your quiz based on your website design.

1. Under Your website, enter your website URL (for example, yourstore.com).
2. This helps match your quiz with your website’s branding.

Step 3: Pull Your Website Design

Now let Quizell fetch the design styles from your website.

1. Click Pull Website Design.
2. Quizell scans your site for fonts and colors.
3. The styles are applied to your quiz automatically.

Step 4: Review and Save

After the design is pulled, review it and save your quiz.

1. Check the live preview to see the new colors and fonts.
2. Click Save at the top right to keep the changes.
3. Not happy with the result? Click Undo before saving to go back.

Step 5: Fine-Tune Layout, Colors and Fonts

You can adjust the pulled design to match your brand exactly.

1. Open Layout & Shapes to set the content width, alignment, RTL direction and the shape of answers and buttons.
2. Open Colors to change the accent, text and background colors, or add a background image.
3. Open Font to choose the heading and text fonts, weights and sizes.

Step 6: Customize Other Design Settings

You can further customize how your quiz looks and feels.

You can adjust:

• Progress Bar – style, size, page number and colors
• Animation – transition between questions (Rise, Pan, Pop or Flip)
• Page Padding – applies to every page

All changes are reflected instantly in the quiz preview.
