With Quizell, you can automatically insert quiz data (such as quiz answers, lead details, or custom inputs) into emails to create highly tailored experiences. This guide will walk you through how to personalize your emails step by step.

Step-by-step Setup Guide

Step 1: Capture Relevant Data in Your Quiz

To use personalized data in emails, first, ensure your quiz is collecting the right information.

Open the Quizell Dashboard and navigate to the Quizzes section.

Select the quiz you want to gather data from.

Confirm that you’re capturing relevant user data:

• Lead Data – Essential details like Full Name, Email, Phone Number, etc.

• Custom Inputs – Input fields you can create and add to your quiz, such as hair type for a beard grooming shop or skin concerns for a skincare brand.

Step 2: Access the Email Flow Editor

In the Quizell Dashboard, navigate to the Email Flow section.

Locate the flow you want to edit, click the three dots next to it, and select Edit.



In the Flow Editor, select the email you want to personalize.

Click Edit Email Design to start customizing.

Step 3: Add Personalized Data to Your Emails

Once inside the Email Builder, you can insert personalized data from the quiz by following these steps:

Click on the text element where you want to add personalized data.



In the left-side panel, locate the content field and click “Add Personalization”.



Select the type of data to insert:

• Profile Data – Includes fields like Full Name, Email, Address, or OTP (One-Time Password).

• Custom Inputs – Data collected through custom quiz fields (e.g., skin type, fitness goal, hair condition).

• Quiz Questions – Display the user’s answers from specific quiz questions.



💡 Tip: Ensure the data you add is relevant to the customer segment you set and aligns with what’s captured in the quiz.

Step 4: Save and Activate Your Flow

Click Save & Exit to apply the changes.



Review your flow in the Flow Editor.

Activate the email flow by toggling the Draft button to Live.
