How to Personalize Your Emails

Introduction

Personalizing your emails in Quizell helps you deliver targeted, relevant content to your audience. By adding user data captured through your quizzes, such as names, emails, or custom inputs, you can create a more engaging and tailored email experience. Follow this step-by-step guide to set up personalized emails.

Step-by-step Setup Guide

Step 1: Ensure You Capture Relevant Data

In the Quizell dashboard, navigate to the Quizzes section.

Open the quiz you want to collect data from.

Verify that you are capturing relevant data for personalization by adding Lead Inputs to your quiz.

Step 2: Edit Your Email Flow

In the Quizell dashboard, navigate to the Email Flow section.

Locate the flow you want to edit, click the three dots next to it, and select Edit.

In the Flow Editor, select the email you want to personalize and click Edit Email.

In the Email Editor, click the Edit Design icon at the top-right corner to access the Email Design Editor.

Step 3: Add Personalized Data to Your Emails

In the Email Design Editor, you can insert user data based on the information captured in your quizzes.

You can access these personalization options using the Merge Tags feature by clicking on any text field within the Email Editor.

Here’s what you can personalize:

· Custom Inputs: Add custom data fields you’ve created in your quiz (e.g., “Your hair type: %hair_type%”).

· Lead Data: Include standard lead data like Full Name, Email, or Phone Number (e.g., “Hi %full_name%, your special offer awaits!”).

· OTP (One-Time Password): Use the verification code sent to your user’s email to confirm their identity.

Learn more about setting up OTP here: How to Configure the OTP Feature.

· Quizzes: Add users’ quiz answers directly into the email content for a personalized touch (e.g., “Based on your skin type, %quiz_answer%, we recommend…”).

🎉 That’s it! By adding personalized data to your emails, you can make your messaging more engaging and relevant, ensuring better user interaction and conversions.
