How to Use Quiz Scores in Your Emails
Introduction
Quizell’s Scored Quiz feature lets you segment users based on the score they receive at the end of a quiz. This enables you to send highly targeted emails — such as tailored recommendations, custom insights, or follow-ups — depending on how a user performed.
Follow this guide to activate scoring in your quiz and use score-based segmentation inside your email flows.
Step-by-Step Setup Guide
Step 1: Activate Scoring in Your Quiz
- In your Quizell dashboard, go to the Quizzes section.
- Select the quiz where you want to enable scoring.

- In the left-hand menu, click Settings.
- Select Score to open your scoring configuration.

Step 2: Use Quiz Scores Inside Your Email Flow
- Navigate to the Email Automation section.
- Find the flow you want to target using quiz scores.
- Click the three dots next to it and select Edit.

Step 3: Configure Score-Based Segmentation
- In the Flow Editor, click the Trigger Box at the top of the flow.

- Change the trigger from All Quiz Leads to Specific Leads.

- In the first dropdown, select a Segment.
- Click Use Scoring Range.
- Enter the score range you want the flow to trigger on (e.g., 0–10, 11–20, etc.).
- Click Save to apply the segmentation rule.
💡 Tip: You can create multiple flows, each triggered by a different score range — perfect for creating multiple personalized outcomes based on performance.
