How to Personalize Quiz Content Using User Data in Quizell

Introduction

Quizell lets you create personalized, interactive quizzes by inserting user-specific data directly into your quiz text — such as names, answers, or custom inputs. You can also add a Result Link to the Results Page, so users can revisit and share their outcomes anytime.

This guide shows you how to use Quizell’s personalization features to deliver more engaging quiz experiences.

Step-by-Step Setup Guide

Step 1: Open Your Quiz Editor

  1. Go to your Quizell dashboard.
  2. Find the quiz you want to personalize and open it in the editor.

Step 2: Insert Personalized Data

You can personalize any text field (titles, descriptions, buttons, etc.) by referencing user data collected in the quiz.

  1. Select the text element where you want personalization.
  2. In the left-side menu, click Add Personalization.

  1. Choose from the available options:

  • Profile Data (e.g., name, email)
  • Address Data
  • Answers to Questions
  • Custom Inputs

This will insert a dynamic placeholder into your text.

👉 For example: “Welcome, %name%!” will automatically show the user’s name once it’s collected.

⚠️ Important: Make sure the data is collected before this step in the quiz. Otherwise, the placeholder will appear blank.

Allow users to save or revisit their result by adding a dynamic link to the Result Page.

  1. Navigate to the Result Page in the quiz editor.

  1. From the left-hand menu, drag and drop the Share Link element.

  1. Customize the text or design if needed.
  • This element automatically generates a unique link that users can copy and return to later.

Tips for Better Personalization

Keep it natural: Make sure dynamic content flows with your quiz’s tone.
