# How to Customize Dropdown Questions in Quizell

## **Introduction**

Quizell allows you to fully customize dropdown-style questions to match your brand and improve the user experience.
Using the quiz editor, you can control option types, dropdown styles, placeholder text, colors, and search behavior all in real time.

This guide walks you through customizing a dropdown question step by step, following the exact flow inside the Quizell editor.

## **Step-by-Step Setup Guide**

### **Step 1: Open Your Quiz from the Quizell Dashboard**

1. Log in to your **Quizell dashboard**.
2. Click on **Quizzes**.
3. Select and open the quiz you want to edit.

### **Step 2: Select a Dropdown Question**

1. Open an existing question or add a new one.
2. From the **Options type** panel, select **Dropdown**.
3. The dropdown input appears in the quiz preview.

1. In the left settings panel, scroll to **Default state styles**.
