# How to connect Shopify to your Quizell account


### Introduction

Integrating Quizell with your Shopify store allows you to deliver personalized shopping experiences at scale. Products from your store are now **automatically synced** to Quizell, making it easier than ever to build quizzes that recommend the right items to the right customers.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through the setup process—from app installation to managing product match logic inside your quizzes.

### Step-by-step Setup Guide

# Step 1: Install the Shopify App

1. Log into your Shopify account.

2. Go to the [Quizell Product Recommendation app](https://apps.shopify.com/quizell-product-recommendation).

3. Click the **Install** button.

4. Review the required authorizations and click **Install** to approve the connection.

5. Choose a Quizell plan to complete the installation.

# Step 2: Create Your First Quiz

1. In your Quizell dashboard, click the **Create your first Quiz** button.

2. Choose from the following options:

• **Start from Templates:** Use a pre-built structure to speed up your quiz creation.  
  
• **Import Questions:** Add questions from an external source.  
  
• **Create with AI:** Let AI help you generate engaging questions and answers.

3. Follow the prompts to design and complete your quiz.

# Step 3: Manage Your Products (Sync is Automatic)

All your Shopify products are now automatically synced with your Quizell account. You’ll find them under the **Products Match** tab in your quizzes' configuration panels.

# Step 4: Configure Shopify Integration Settings

1. Navigate to the **Integrations** section of your Quizell dashboard.

2. Find **Shopify** and click **View Integration**.

3. Choose the quizzes you want to connect to Shopify.

✅  A new Shopify customer will be created for each quiz participant, with a “quizell” tag added automatically.

4. Enable the Shopify webhooks that align with your campaign needs.

### Webhook information

* products/create: Sync newly created products
    
* products/delete: Remove deleted products
    
* products/update: Sync product edits
    
* collections/create: Sync new collections
    
* collections/delete: Remove deleted collections
    
* collections/update: Sync collection changes
    
* orders/create: Track quiz-generated orders
    
* shop/update: Update store info in Quizell

⚠️ **Tip**: Only enable the webhooks you need to avoid unnecessary updates.
