# How to Add Negative Scores to Quiz Answers

In some quizzes, you may want to assign negative points to certain answers to lower the overall score when selected. This is helpful for disqualifying answers, deducting points for incorrect choices, or shaping outcomes more precisely. This guide shows you how to add and verify **negative scores** in your quiz using the scored quiz feature.

# Step-by-step Guide

### Step 1: Choose Quiz And Enable Scored Option

1. Select the quiz you want to edit from your dashboard.

2. Go to the **Settings**.

3. Navigate to **Score Tab**.

### Step 2: Edit Negative Scores, Choose Any Option And Enter Email

1. Navigate to the question you want and click **Add Score**.

2. Then input a negative score (e.g., -2) for an answer.

3. Preview the quiz and choose the answer option with the negative score.

4. Submit the quiz with an email to track the result.

### Step 3: Go to Customer Tab Option And Verify Score Count 

1. Open the **Customers** tab from the side menu.

2. Click the customer entry and confirm the score includes the negative value you set.
